Versatility in Action: BIM Partners with Amazing Facts International for Community Health Expo
From April 13–17, Belize City welcomed a transformative Free Health Expo hosted by Amazing Facts International at the Civic Center. The mission provided essential services in General Medicine, Pediatrics, Women’s Health, and Dental care as part of their dedicated outreach programming.
While the clinical work took place at the Civic Center, a different kind of “operation” was happening at the Belize Institute of Management. To support their mission, the Amazing Facts team embarked on a massive culinary undertaking, preparing meals for 250 people daily.
A First for BIM
Our meeting rooms have hosted everything from high-level corporate training and conferences to intimate bridal showers and anniversaries. However, this week marked a unique milestone. Our client transformed a second-floor business suite into a fully functional commercial kitchen.
By expertly installing temporary water lines and butane gas systems, the group brought in their own stoves and equipment to facilitate a five-day “culinary journey.”
A Success Story in Adaptability
At BIM, we pride ourselves on versatility, flexibility, and adaptability. Seeing our space pivot from a professional meeting environment to a high-output kitchen was an incredible feat. This success was made possible by the sheer ingenuity and tireless work ethic of the mission’s cooks and support staff.
